How to run the free version .apk from baidu.com
1. Install the .apk file.
2. Under your phone settings, change your language to 中文(简体) [Simplified Chinese].
3. Change your region to China time (GMT+8:00, 中国标准时间).
4. Now you can run the app without crashing.
Games tested so far:
Lonely Yuri – runs well.
Tokyo Alice – runs well.
Koi iro Chu! Lips – runs well. The only catch is that if you save the game during a choice, then the choice will NOT appear when you load, and you will just get stuck there.
G-senjou no Maou – runs well with specific patch.
Intro videos run nicely as well.
You can find patches to run certain visual novels that have protected archives or effects otherwise not supported by Kirikiroid2 here:
Looks very promising so far. Here’s a sample video.
Sweet. That definitely stopped the app from crashing. It’s a bit annoying having to keep switching language, but I can deal with that as long as it works. :>
I ultimately bought the app because it was annoying to keep switching languages; and the app was actually good :3
Yeah, I’ll definitely end up buying it to support the developer(s). However, I did find a way to automate the process and get the app working(Root only)without having to keep changing the language everytime you wish to play.
1. Install Xposed Framework from here – http://bit.ly/1hCaq32 (I recommend using version 2.6.1)
2. Run the app, install the framework and reboot.
3. Open up Xposed Installer, go to Download and search for App Settings.
4. Download and install App Settings and run it.
5. Locate the free version of Kirikiroid2(吉里吉里2模拟器) from the list of installed apps and select it.
6. Turn the settings on for the app, change Locale to 中文 (中国) and hit save.
7. The app should now run without you having to switch Language yourself.
8. Have fun!
Nice tip! I’ll add it in another post soon 😀
I just realized I forgot an important part in my guide, so I’m reposting a revised version with the missing step. It’s pretty much the same guide though.
MUST BE ROOTED TO USE THE FOLLOWING GUIDE.
1. First download and install the latest version of Kirikiroid2 from here – http://bit.ly/1lNH6Fl (must enable installation of apps from unknown sources)
2. Download and install Xposed Framework from here – http://bit.ly/1hCaq32 (I recommend using the latest stable release)
3. Run the app, go into Framework and install it, but don’t reboot yet.
4. Go into Download and search for App Settings and get the latest version.
5. Under Modules enable App Settings, then reboot(if you can’t enable it, then reboot first and try again).
6. After the reboot, open up App Settings and locate the free version of Kirikiroid2(吉里吉里2模拟器) from the list of installed apps and select it.
7. Turn the settings on for the app, change Locale to 中文 (中国) (or one of the two other available Chinese language options) and hit save.
8. The app should now run without you having to switch Language yourself.
9. Have fun!

Hi, I have downloaded it but I can not run it on Android 5.0.2, is there any problem I have met? Should I do something to deal with it? I will appreciate it very much if you could give me some advice.
Do you need to have a baidu account to download from baidu?
Nope, not required.
The app is gone from baidu
Yuri VN for android please ?
You can get the latest free chinese version of the app on his official github: https://github.com/zeas2/Kirikiroid2/releases
Also it’s easier to change the android system timezone, and locale (system language) with apps.
For example, a shortcut to the system language menu: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.examobile.changelanguage
And an app that creates a shortcut to instantly change your system timezone to one specified (i made a shortcut for china, and one for my normal timezone): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tw.com.ks.timezone
(These all work without root).
